Laura there was no photo of the ferris wheel on the blog, was there supposed to be? It all sounds so interesting. Amy wrote a long email about the great time you are having. Wonderful food etc. I noticed Darla wrote on there that she wants Amy to email her to let her know what kind of a time she is having. Give our congrats to the newleyweds and send along some pictures if anyone has any from the wedding. Jane
The food is very interesting. It always consists of some meat,cabbage, squash or some vegetable. Today our generous hosts had a very knowledgeable tour guide and we ended up eating at a very nice modern art museum. We had squash soup, beef, potatoes, a vegetable and an interesting mixture of apple and horseradish. The dessert was traditional and it was a plum surrounded by a dough with sugar on it. It was sorta like a fruit dumpling and always the coffee is the finest! You can have expresso or any number of different kinds of coffee.
